Dan Sperry magician

 I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to introduce this next performer. His name is Dan Sperry the Anti-conjuror of Magic. This shock illusionist is by far my most favorite magician in the world! He's known as the Rockstar of Magic. Dan has traveled and performed the world over and with some of the most successful magic shows. Dan has appeared on America's Got Talent, Fool US with Penn and Teller, Masters of Illusions, Germany's Das Super Talent and he was the only illusionist awarded the title of “Most Original Magician” on Fox-TV’s “World Magic Awards.”

His expertise in his original brand of Shock Illusion was sought out by the popular band “Jane’s Addiction” and he was invited to create “magical” visual effects for their tour.  Dan has co-starred in the “hit” Broadway and nationwide show “The Illusionists-Live From Broadway” for several years since its inception in Sydney, Australia.  In addition, he headlines his own show throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. 

Dan Sperry is also a successful business entrepreneur. He created the popular “Zombie Java” coffee blend in 2012 and works with a multi-generation family who are the oldest coffee importers in New York. The best-selling coffee is sold worldwide-throughout America, Europe and The Far East.

Dan’s fascination with the art of illusions began when he was 4 years old and he performed his first paid show at age 11. By the time he was 17 years old, magician Dan Sperry was already an internationally recognized champion with honors including one of the youngest illusionists headlining at the legendary Magic Castle in Hollywood, California.

He made multiple appearances on CW’s popular TV series “Masters of Illusion,” was the youngest illusionist featured in Las Vegas and toured globally throughout Europe and Canada. In addition, he was the only illusionist awarded the title of “Most Original Magician” on Fox-TV’s “World Magic Awards.”

Dan spent several years touring universities and night clubs and garnered a huge social media presence. He competed on NBC-TV’s “hit” variety series “America’s Got Talent” (season 5) in 2010. His “eclectic” style of magic received millions of views on YouTube. He shocked audiences, captivated voters with his legendary performance of making a lifesaver appear out of his throat while grossing out judge Howie Mandel.  Sperry was one of the top 10 most Googled people after performing on “AGT.” Fans of all ages searched online to discover more of the Anti-Conjuror’s shocking illusions.

Shortly afterwards Dan embarked on his first solo national tour with one the largest touring magic shows at that time. His one-of-a-kind look and unusual adaptation of magic captured the imagination, shocked and entertained fans. His success led to his work with the original launch of “The Illusionists” at The Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia. In the fall of 2011, Sperry re-located from Las Vegas to New York City and starred nightly Off-Broadway in “MAGICSHOW.” Dan received high acclaim from audiences and critics. The show was awarded “Best of Manhattan” in 2012 and 2013 and Dan received the coveted Merlin award and “Most Cutting Edge Magic” award twice in a row from the International Magicians’ Society. 

“Cake Boss” TV star Buddy Valastro was so impressed with Dan’s work that he devoted an entire episode of his “hit” series celebrating Dan’s 500th performance. Dan correctly guessed how his custom cake would look without seeing it in advance. He provided a sealed prediction which was baked into the cake. The acclaimed magician and the acclaimed chef loved working together during the “surprising” reveal on stage in front of a sold-out audience.

Dan’s fame as an international illusionist continued to grow after he competed and became the first magician finalist on Germany’s popular TV series “Das Super Talent,” one of the European versions of “America’s Got Talent.” Dan received record-breaking votes from the show’s more than 7 million viewers during the semi-finals which landed him in the final’s top three.  Anti-Conjuror Dan Sperry captivates audiences worldwide on stage, on Television and as a social media phenomenon.
